2010 North American Championships Results (Back To News)
Congratulations to all the dancers who represented Rince na h' Eireann at the 2010 North American Irish Dance Championships in Orlando, Florida! The level of competition was extremely high as many of the top dancers in the world made the trip to Disney (can you blame them?) to enjoy the amazing venue and nearby parks. This year, we had some tremendous results and while we are super proud of all the dancers who competed, we want to recognize the following medalists:
While we have had many recalls at nationals in past years as well as boys who were named World Qualifiers, this is the first year that any of the RNE girls placed high enough in the recall to be named World Qualifier! Thanks to all the dancers who represented us so well both in solos and teams – we are proud of your efforts!!! View 2010 National Photo Gallery Carolyn McPherson, Class of 2010, Earns IDTANA Scholarship Rince na h’ Eireann is extremely proud to announce that Carolyn McPherson, Class of 2010, has earned a coveted IDTANA scholarship. This marks the fifth time in our schools history and the second year in a row that a RNE dancer has achieved this distinction. Carolyn was one of 5 dancers from the Southern Region who earned one of the 26 scholarships awarded at the 2010 North American Irish Dance Championships in Orlando, Florida.
