Welcome to our Oireachtas Page. Here you will find, hopefully, everything you need for your trip.
I will try to list everything that you will need to know, this list, by all means will not be complete. I am sure I will forget something! I will be updating this as needed. Please let me know if I forgot something or you have something to add. Thank you Gena for getting this done for me!

Your dancer will receive their competitor number when they check in side stage the day of their competition. For solo's, they need to be there 1 (one) hour prior to their start time. You must be completely dressed when you check in. Dancer will check in at podium when competition is called and received their competitor number. You must remain at the assigned waiting area. All dancers are then put into numerical order to dance.
-
The stage manager will draw a number and that will be the first competitor to dance, everyone else will follow. For example, #46 starts followed by 47, 47, 49, 50....75, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6...45 will be the last dancer.
-
This will conclude Round 1, hard shoe.
-
Round 2 begins with the number that is 1/3 of the the way down the list from the one one that begins. For example, 70 begins and ends with 69. Round 2 is soft shoes.
-
Usually within the hour or so, the stage manager will announce who recalled to dance their set. This person will go down the list calling in numerical order only. If your number is called, be prepared to dance your set. They will say an apporoximate time, be early! Again, they will go down 1/3 of the list. For example, 21 starts but if 21 was not recalled, the first number after that that recalled will dance first.
- Dancers will dance 3 at a time for the first two rounds up to and including U14.
-
All awards for that day will be held in the evening. All recalled competitors must be in full costume and hard shoes.
